Valentine’s Day in San Francisco
Some days just call for getting out the house, with the intent to go see something new. As parents, there are just some Valentine’s Day where you bring your children along, and make it fun for the whole family.
We started off next to the Pacific Ocean, not too far way from where Balboa St. meets Hwy 1, making our way north, and visiting parts of San Francisco we had not seen yet.
The Pacific Ocean has always been how the family resets, recharges, and fills the soul.
We made our way along the street and the path next to the ocean, before walking down to the Sutro Baths ruins, and checking out all the nooks and crannies the area had to offer.
I loved the natural framing that the trees provided.
How appropriate for Valentine’s Day, a heart shaped opening in the rock face…
After a quick lunch nearby, we decided to check out Golden Gate Park, but it was too crowded, had no parking, and looked to be somewhat of a pain to explore. We decided to keep heading north, and grab some ice cream. We ended up in Sausalito.
The kids clearly loved their ice cream, with my son really going for it!
The fog and clouds provided excellent diffused lighting, so taking portraits was very easy.
All in all, we had a wonderful day!
Peace & Love…
