A Quick Trip to the City
A quick trip to San Francisco is always a delight for me, and my family. There are so many nooks and crannies to explore, as well as delicious food to eat (nothing beats Clam Chowder in a Sourdough bread bowl for me). Walking around the streets, with the buildings blanketed in fog, there were some great photo opportunities - even if we were actually there to do something else.
Leading lines, streets & geometry were the name of the game since almost no one was outside. We walked through the Chinatown section, but everything was closed, and the real draw for me is the energy that the mixture of residents and tourists bring.
Walking the Pier and seeing Alcatraz island, or ships passing by is always fun, and as the fog was slowly burning off, glimpses of blue peeked through the haze of grey.
A short, quick trip - but a fun one. Next outing, I hope to stay longer.
